Students of Tyumen SMU did practical training in the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 18th of May to 1st of June 2015 10 first and third year students of Pharmaceutical Faculty of Tyumen SMU did visiting practical training at SKSPA (South Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy, Shymkent) within the frames of international academic mobility and of Cooperation Agreement.

The practical training (for first year students – in Botany, for third year students in Pharmacognosy) was headed by Professor O.A. Rusakova of the Chair of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Pharmacognosy with the course of Botany, Tyumen SMU. Students were given certificates verifying their training within the joint education program.

During the visit meetings with Pro-rector in charge of Economics Professor B.K. Makhatov, Head of the Chair of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry Professor A.K. Patsaev, Vice Dean Professor K.K. Orynbasarova, staff of Dean’s office of Pharmaceutical Faculty were held, questions of academic mobility of students and teaching staff of Pharmaceutical Faculty were discussed.

During the negotiation process joint education programs of practical training in Botany and Pharmacognosy and additional amendments to Cooperation Agreement were signed.
