Wider project objective is to join efforts of the EU and PC Universities, Research Institutions, PC State and Regional Authorities, and NGOs for training, retraining and skills upgrading of experts able to decide multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary problems existing on the BY, RU and UA territories contaminated by radiological nuclear agents during the Chernobyl disaster with a view to human security.

Project Specific Objectives

1. To develop interdisciplinary Master and PhD Programs focused on Human Security (HS)

of population lived on territories suffered by accidents at Nuclear power plants in frames

of following specialties, namely: “HS and Environment” – Ecology and Environment

specialties, “Quality of Food for HS” – Food Quality Control specialties, “Public Health

for HS” – Medical specialties and “HS and Society” – Political Science and Sociology

specialties and introduce them in 12 PC Universities (4 BY, 4 RU and 4 UA) since

September 2014.

2. To create EU-PC System of retraining and skills upgrading of professionals, including PC

University teachers, focused on decision multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary problems

existing on the BY, RU and UA territories contaminated by radioactive agents and introduce it in operation since January 2015.

3. To create BY, RU and UA Competence Centers of Human Security aiming to support

students’ training and professionals’ retraining and skills upgrading, as well as

coordination of science investigations and wide dissemination of the project related information between general public till the Project end.
